Non smoking...

From 1 June people are no longer allowed to smoke in restaurants here in Sweden.
This has been, and is still, a huge issue to so many people. The restaurant owners have built special rooms, installed special fans and has build rooftops outside so that the smokers still would like to come to just their restaurant. Anything so that it will not be unconveniant for the smokers. That the smoke has been more then unconveniant for us non smokers for such a long time is a fact that seems to have been ignored. Now, finally, people suffering from astma and other deseases, and those of us who just feels that its disgusting to have to spend time in all that smoke (and smell like an ashtray), can go out on restaurants.
I dont really know how the rest of the world treats smokers (and non smokers...) except for under my recent trip to Brussels, i found it very annoying that people smoked almost everywhere.
Fill me in, whats it like out there? and what is your opinion?

Family visit...

Hubbys family has been here for a few days. Grandmas funeral was on friday.
As all funerals it was a bit hard... Even if its like in this case, an older person who has done her time and now has died in peace with herself and the world its sad and empty without her...

We went on a familytrip for the day on saturday. Visiting the neighbour city of Luleå and a market in Gammelstad. It was a warm sunny day and in all it was very nice.
Saturday eve we spent dining at a chinese restaurant and the´n we walked home through a quiet town.
Since yesterday morning it has been raining.
Typical, isn't it... It's Swedens national holiday today and its raining cats and dogs.

I had a cold last week so i spend most my time under a blanket on the couch, sneezing and coughing. Seems like this spring i have been nothing but sick. I had bronchitis in mars and a pneumonia in april.
The rest of the time in april, when i wasnt sick, i spent travelling. I was in Brussels (i must tell you about that...) the first week in april and then i went to Stockholm two different times during may.

Now i all do is long for the rain to end, midsummer to arrive, summerholiday and time off work, and of course, to get the boat into water.
